For Girl Scout Brownies entering 2nd or 3rd grade, the Brownie Dancer Badge will be available for purchase. The Brownie Dancer Badge is to be worn on the front of uniform and costs $4.00 each. For any Girl Scouts, the Dance Sew-On Patch will be available for purchase. The Dance Sew-On Patch is to be worn on the back of uniform and cost $2.50 each. Badges/Patches will be available for purchase Tuesday and Thursday during pick-up time, while supplies last.
For the parade, dancers will meet the Flyerettes at South County Technical School on West Watson Road approximately an hour and a half before the parade begins. They will learn some of the parade material that the Flyerettes perform and then will walk alongside the Flyerettes doing the choreography! The parade ends at Truman Middle School.
We group our dancers for the clinic by grade; K-1, 2-3, 4 & Up. We teach each group a dance routine, play games, and teach age appropriate dance technique.
When you arrive on the first day, please go to the Commons at LHS, where you will find a name tag for your dancer!
We will be posting pictures of the clinic on our Facebook page throughout the week! Please Like the "Lindbergh High School Dance Team" for updates on the clinic and the Flyerettes!
Make sure your dancer has a snack after school, or pack extra goodies in her lunch. There will be candy and snacks for purchase prior to the clinic! Since our clinics are typically from 4-6pm, there isn't time for dinner, but the girls are hungry!
Make sure your dancer is wearing tennis shoes and brings a water bottle!
Friday's performance will be during half time. Flyerettes, Cheerleaders and the Spirit of St. Louis Marching Band perform at pregame at approximately 6:30pm. The game starts at 7:00pm. At the start of 2nd quarter we ask that all of our dancers meet us under the scoreboard to stretch and line up. The routines run back to back and are about 1 minute long. You will also get to see a performance by our Shining Stars Dance Team powered by The Sparkle Effect!
After the performance we ask that parents meet us on the opposite side of the field - the side closest to the concession stand. You will see the girls run off the field! This is where you can pick up your student!
We will post videos of the performance on our Facebook page the following week!
